We aim to provide an accessible service for everyone.
As part of this we focus on making the information on our website easy to find and display all content in a user friendly manner.
We provide access to an online tool called 'ReachDeck' that offers a range of accessibility features for our website visitors. You can open the toolbar by selecting the orange icon on the bottom right of the screen.
Once you've done this a toolbar will then open up at the top of the web page (if using a desktop computer or laptop) or at the bottom of your page if using a mobile device.
The toolbar allows you to do the following:
- Make the text size bigger or smaller
- Read the wording on the web page out loud
- Translate the wording on the page into 99+ languages
- Create a MP3 audio download of the web page so you can listen to the content at a time convenient to you
- Use the picture dictionary to help gain an understanding on what words and phrases mean using illustrations
- Make colour changes to the text and backgrounds of the webpage using the screen masking feature
- Simplify the web page to avoid distracting content.
Watch the video below for more information. Or visit the Reach Deck website here.
