The EMTN Programme is linked to our recently updated Sustainable Finance Framework. This sets out our commitment to environmental and social principles and how this flows through to the way we use funding raised under the framework. We intend to raise long term capital to invest in our new and existing housing, aligned with the lifecycle of the assets.

We have a strong pool of properties available to charge against new bonds under the programme. Bonds are a valuable way for us to extend the maturity and fixed rate percentage of our £3bn debt portfolio. This funding serves our residents and communities, who can continue to rest assured of our financial stability.

Barclays are the Arranger for the EMTN Programme, with Devonshires advising Southern on the legal documentation and Addleshaw Goddard advising the Arranger and Dealers.
